Some of the predictions made for 2017 consist of three major palettes that can be categorized as Confident, Composed, and Comfortable. Each personality type comes with certain colors that define them. For the Confident personality, the color palettes are dusky blues, spicy reds, and lime greens. These colors define the confident personality which will grab the attention of others. For the Composed personality the color palettes consist of earthy greens, and taupe that creates a contemporary feel to the space. The Comfortable personality will appreciate soft pinks, blues, and yellows that make the smallest of spaces pop out more, creating a calmer feel. Many of these colors have already made themselves known this week and will gain more momentum for this coming year.

Some may feel these colors are risky and they may not like them. Once you have decided to move forward with your choice, you will find the right accent color will also make a huge difference. For the confident personality we predict that they will choose another louder color to contrast there color palettes. For the dusky blues, yellow works well with and still pops out demanding the attention it deserves. The spicy reds may have either grays or blues making the smallest of trim or other accents stand out. The confident lime green, reds, oranges, and whites, keep the attention of the room. For the composed personality their accent color of choice tends toward the earthy greens to the various shades of white and black. These accent colors make for a wholesome and complete feel to any room. Same for the taupe with earthy green accents which brings out the composure and personality of the home owner. Then you have the comfortable personality who seems to like soft pinks, blues and yellows. They most often stay with lighter accent colors in either yellows with blues, soft or dual green accents with yellow or satin white. Pinks, blues and yellows never go wrong.
