If you are only doing a single room you can probably take the furniture and art and move it to another room in the house. If you are doing multiple rooms or you don’t have the ability to move the single room’s items out you can just make some piles in the center of the room. If you have a lot of large items to move you may want to move them into a few smaller piles so that you can get around the stack easier. This will clear up the wall space and leave them ready to paint.

Do I Need to Repair Walls Before Painting?

You may not think that you have repairs to make in the drywall but no matter how careful you are there will be damage in the walls.
