One of the first things that you need to do to get the walls ready for paint is to clear the room out. If you are only doing a single room you can probably take the furniture and art and move it to another room in the house. If you are doing multiple rooms or you don’t have the ability to move the single room’s items out you can just make some piles in the center of the room.
