Baseboard Upgrades: Most homes come standard with a baseboard that runs around the inside perimeter of the home. The baseboard is a short piece or wood product that is installed at the base of the wall above the flooring. A standard baseboard is about two inches in height and has little to no intricate cuts. You do not need to stay with that standard baseboard and you can have a new and more extravagant baseboard installed. There are several options and the best way to choose what is right for you is to talk to a professionals that can install the baseboard for you. The baseboard is usually painted white and a higher gloss.
Chair Rails Can Add Some Fun To Any Room: If you have a room such as a child’s bedroom that needs something new to make it look better you can have a chair rail installed. This is a piece of wood product that is installed at about the level that a chair back would hit the wall. It looks similar to a piece of baseboard and is installed about half way up the wall. It is a great way to have a color change using one color below the rail and a different color above the rail. This is also normally painted a high gloss white.
